Leading up to him coming they did a temple open house and we had the opportunity to help usher and clean the temple. It was very cool to be inside the temple at night with only a few other people cleaning it. We felt a spirit like no where else. Then when the prophet came he went to the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) to watch some of the shows. I work at the PCC so I was able to get the inside scoop on when he would be arriving and what shows he would be going to! So of course Mark and I jumped at the opportunity to get to see him so close. First time blogger

This is my first time blogging, but I am very excitted to start. My name is Natalie and I am married to my sweet husband Mark. We are currently on a great adventure!! We are living in Hawaii so that Mark can go to school at BYUH. He just finished the soccer season and is doing really good in school. I am just working and loving life. Its not hard to find fun things to do here and we are always waiting for our next day off so that we can go explore some more of Oahu! We live on the beautiful North Shore, it is all about keeping the country country and we are slowly becoming beach bums. Mark thinks that he has died and gone to heaven he goes to the beach to surf all the time and rarely wears shoes, and if my hair is straight its a special occasion. Needless to say we are becoming true hawaiins and loving it!
