Mark and I had a great christmas break here in Hawaii! We where sad that we didn't get to go home but decided to make the best of it and treat it like a vacation. So we both got a week off of work so we could live it up and do all the fun things we hadn't had a chance to do yet! We kicked it off with a fun day at Pearl Harbor! I have always wanted to go and it did not dissapoint. We loved learning about what happened there. The Arizona Memorial was cool to see, we could still see the oil in the water. After Pearl Harbor we spent the night in Waikiki hot tubing and having a blast! Mark surfed pipeline for the first time. He was so excited to be surfing on these big waves, and it quickly became his new favorite surf spot. He made me a little nervous dropping in on 5 foot waves, but I am proud of him for being so passionate about surfing, and for picking it up so quickly1! We had dinner at our favorite restaurant Kahuku Grill. We did a beautiful hike ...
Over the summer Marks family got family pictures taken. I wasn't super pumped about it at first because I was 32 weeks pregnant but they actually turned out really cute. She also did a few maternity shots of Mark and I. I was not to sure about them at first but they turned out really cute. Second, Mark got a call from the stake president of the Single stake here in Laie last week and was asked if we could meet with him. He asked him to serve as the second counselor in the bishopric. He was very humbled by this we did not exp...

He was a little fighter though and came around pretty quickly. I got to hold him for a couple of minutes before they took him away to the nursery to monitor him. But he did really good Mark got to give him his first bath and I got to go see him in the nursery after I got all cleaned up and nurse him. He did great and took right to it, which I'm so happy about because they had to give him a bottle and a binky before I could nurse him. He spent his first n...
