Brad & Sue

We recently had Marks parents Brad and Sue come to visit for ten whole days, and we had so much fun!

We went to the Laie temple to take some pictures.

It is such a beautiful temple they loved it.

We also went to Mark's school and gave them a  tour.

Mark took Brad out and taught him to surf, they had a blast!


We went snorkeling at sharks cove and turtle bay, and saw a lot of pretty fishy's.

Brad and Mark loved snorkeling together.

We had a blast playing on the shore line breaks on the boogy boards.


Mark and Brad went out on some big waves, Brad was on the boogy board and Mark was on his surf board.

Sue even went out on some waves she had a blast.

We saw beautiful sunset....

We went to the dole plantation and had the yummy ice cream.

We went out to eat at our favorite restaurants.

And stayed in for some delicious pinaple burgers.

We saw some cute birds and I just had to take a picture of it.

Marks friend Cameron came and hung out with us for a day, it was nice to see him!

We saw some huge turtles just hanging out on the beach.

Sue was so excited!

We had a really fun day of kayaking.

We all took turns going out together.

We spent a lot of time just having fun goofing off together...

And  a lot of time just hanging out on the beach!

We where sad to see them go it was so nice to have them here with us.
We miss you guys!

    Cute! I'm glad I found your blog! And don't you just love it when parents come to visit?? I've been here in Hawaii for 5 years now. And I promise it's the best part. Having them visit and showing them all your fave spots!

    OH MY GOSH! YOu are getting SOOOO good a photography! You must teach me your ways! I miss you guys SOOOOOOOOO much. I am glad you guys had such a good time when they came to visit. They told us they loved it so much.

Hawaii Christmas

Mark and I had a great christmas break here in Hawaii! We where sad that we didn't get to go home but decided to make the best of it and treat it like a vacation. So we both got a week off of work so we could live it up and do all the fun things we hadn't had a chance to do yet! We kicked it off with a fun day at Pearl Harbor! I have always wanted to go and it did not dissapoint. We loved learning about what happened there. The Arizona Memorial was cool to see, we could still see the oil in the water. After Pearl Harbor we spent the night in Waikiki hot tubing and having a blast! Mark surfed pipeline for the first time. He was so excited to be surfing on these big waves, and it quickly became his new favorite surf spot. He made me a little nervous dropping in on 5 foot waves, but I am proud of him for being so passionate about surfing, and for picking it up so quickly1! Daxs 2 Month Stat s Weight:13.2 84th percentile  Height:24 inches 86th percentile Head: 15.75 Hair: dark brown, starting to spike on its own Eyes: greyish blue Likes: Dax is a really good baby he likes to lay on his back and watch his mommy and daddy make funny faces at him. He does not like his car seat he likes to be free to move around. He is always kicking his legs and likes to be held so he is standing so he can look around and jump.  Tricks: He is cooing and smiling more and more each day.  Daxs first time in the ocean he was not that crazy about it. He just likes to chill in his bouncy chair in the shade and watch his mom and dad swim. These videos are pretty funny we are way more excited about it then him.

Family Pics

Over the summer Marks family got family pictures taken. I wasn't super pumped about it at first  because I was 32 weeks pregnant but they actually turned out really cute. She also did a few maternity shots  of Mark and I.  I was not to sure about them at first but they turned out really cute.  Now for a pregnancy update I am 37 weeks pregnant today I have  a doctors appointment tomorrow and I am hoping I have started to progress in the right direction to get this baby out of me. Now for a life update this last weekend was a crazy one in the Davis household. First, Mark had his first game as a college coach, he was very nervous but they came out on top so he got his first win. Second, Mark got a call from the stake president of the Single stake here in Laie last week and was asked if we could meet with him. He asked him to serve as the second counselor in the bishopric.
