Long over due post!!


 This post is long over due! Mark and I where lucky enough to get to go home and visit our family for six weeks over the summer it was so much fun! We spent the first week having a blast with Marks family. Michelle and Nate came down and visited, it was so much fun to have the whole family together and to get to play with all my nephews.



It was so much fun getting to hang out with Marks family, we all get along so well!

We had so much fun visiting Marks grandparents in Springville!

These are two of my cute nephews Zane and Dylan! Dylan was so cute I had a sleepover at their house and he followed me around and called me Uncle Mark it was so cute!

I threw Mark a surprise birthday party for his 24th birthday at my aunt and uncles house! He was very surprised we had a good time.

The family at Marks party. My dad was able to come to his party it was nice because he was working a lot this summer! I have the best family in the world we all have so much fun together!

These are my grandparents. They are the most wonderful people I know! Mark and I love them so much!

My brothers where able to come this year it was so nice to see them it had been a long time!

I love my cute little sister! Mark and I really enjoyed hanging out with her this summer! She was our buddy and did everything with us! I am so lucky to be able to consider my sister as my best friend! I miss her so much!

So Mark found these shorts at Walmart for two dollars and the hats at Maceys grocery store for two dollars. He practically lived in them the whole time we where camping!. He also bought a hat for my  Uncle Hal they had a good time!

Mark and I tried to get out and do some hikes while we where there the rivers where so full it was beautiful!
My friends Tiffany and Lateisha and their Hubbys and baby! We went to a bees game together it felt like old times!

This is one of Marks favorite past times! Its called Flo Rider! We took my family to do it they all had fun!

The boys and the girls minus my brothers Stirling and Cameron. We had fun at the pool!
Mark went to a couple of real games with his friend Brian! I went to one with him they are so much fun to go to!

There where many other fun events that are not pictured which include...
  • Lunch and shopping with my grandma and grandpa Jensen! It was so nice to see them again! I have always loved my lunch dates with my grandma!
  • Movies, movies, and more movies with my brother Nathan he works at the movie theater and we love going to movies with him!
  • A fun road trip to California with friends! I will post about that later!
  • And feeding our faces at all of our favorite restaurants that we miss so much!
Overall it was an amazing six weeks! We loved seeing all of our family and friends! We are so lucky to have so many wonderful people back home who love us!

Hawaii Christmas

Mark and I had a great christmas break here in Hawaii! We where sad that we didn't get to go home but decided to make the best of it and treat it like a vacation. So we both got a week off of work so we could live it up and do all the fun things we hadn't had a chance to do yet! We kicked it off with a fun day at Pearl Harbor! I have always wanted to go and it did not dissapoint. We loved learning about what happened there. The Arizona Memorial was cool to see, we could still see the oil in the water. After Pearl Harbor we spent the night in Waikiki hot tubing and having a blast! Mark surfed pipeline for the first time. He was so excited to be surfing on these big waves, and it quickly became his new favorite surf spot. He made me a little nervous dropping in on 5 foot waves, but I am proud of him for being so passionate about surfing, and for picking it up so quickly1! Family Pics

Over the summer Marks family got family pictures taken. I wasn't super pumped about it at first  because I was 32 weeks pregnant but they actually turned out really cute. She also did a few maternity shots  of Mark and I.  I was not to sure about them at first but they turned out really cute.  Now for a pregnancy update I am 37 weeks pregnant today I have  a doctors appointment tomorrow and I am hoping I have started to progress in the right direction to get this baby out of me. Now for a life update this last weekend was a crazy one in the Davis household. First, Mark had his first game as a college coach, he was very nervous but they came out on top so he got his first win. Second, Mark got a call from the stake president of the Single stake here in Laie last week and was asked if we could meet with him. He asked him to serve as the second counselor in the bishopric. Daxton's Birth

So it is decided I am officially the worlds worst blogger my baby is already almost four months old so I guess that means it is time to put on some updates about him. So I will start with his birth Dax was born after 33 hours of labor and 3 and a half long hours of pushing. They had to use the vacuum on him twice so he came out with quite the cone head. His heart rate also dropped way down so they had to immediately rush him away and resuscitate him. That part was pretty scary I didn't hear him cry for about five minutes. He was a little fighter though and came around pretty quickly. I got to hold him for a couple of minutes before they took him away to the nursery to monitor him. But he did really good Mark got to give him his first bath and I got to go see him in the nursery after I got all cleaned up and nurse him. He did great and took right to it, which I'm so happy about because they had to give him a bottle and a binky before I could nurse him. He spent his first n
